Get involved
A STUDENT + A CARING ADULT + JESUS = GOOD STUFF This is our student ministry formula. It's not magic, and thankfully it's not algebraic! We know that when Jesus and a caring adult are involved in the life of a student, good stuff happens. Will you consider being one of those caring adults? Influence the next generation for Christ by volunteering with Ridgeview Student Ministry. Volunteer opportunities include helping with Sunday School on Sunday mornings, mentoring students in Small Groups, serving during Youth Group, and helping with special events. |
Jacob Nelson|Student Minister I began my ministry with Ridgeview Christian Church in the summer of 2017 as a student ministry intern. I loved it so much that I came back again in the summers of 2018 and 2019 then became the full-time student minister in January of 2020. I grew up in Willard, Missouri and moved to Rolla in 2016 to study Engineering Management at Missouri S&T. I've been married to my wife Jaiden since 2021! She is a paraprofessional at Truman Elementary School and you'll see her frequently at youth group. I love spending time outdoors fishing, kayaking, hunting, etc. I am a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs (in that order). Most importantly I love serving God and seeing students faithfully follow the call the Lord puts on their hearts! |
